Hi Sarj,
   Hope all is well with you and yours also.  I am doing well here in TN; still rescuing dogs & cats.
   I am not sure who is keeping up with the status of our classmates, but I thought you probably would know who to send the info to.  Denise (Lenz) Ziegler is now at Bethesda Care Center, 600 N. Brush St. , room 208-1, Fremont, Ohio 43420  That is the Alzheimer wing of the care center.  I saw her this summer and she remembered me and my husband, mentioned several people from our class and was in good spirits.  She was at her brother's for Thanksgiving Day and asked to call me; we had a nice conversation then too (repeating things frequently however).  I talked with her daughter last week and she said Denise was doing well and seems to enjoy where she is, has begun to participate in the activities they provide which she hadn't done before.  I'm sure she would enjoy getting cards or even a visit if you are in Fremont some time.

CHARLES S. MIZEN

We have lost another classmate.

Charoles S. Mizen

Charles S. Mizen, 77, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at his residence.

Charles was born on March 10, 1939 in Tiffin, to the late Charles T. and Bernice (Santmire) Mizen. He married Arloween (Terry) in Tiffin, on September 10, 1960 and she preceded him in death on June 21, 2006.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Scott (Linda) Mizen of Cedar Grove, TN, Randy (Kim) Mizen of Fremont, a daughter, Dawn Mizen of Tiffin, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Charlene Dillinger of Flower Mound, TX.

Charles retired from Atlas Crankshaft after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Ohio Archeology Club, the Sandusky River Coon Hunters and enjoyed flea markets, hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a infant son, Charles Harvey Mizen.

Funeral services for Charles will be at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, from 3-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday, at Greenlawn cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenlawn Cemetery Association.
